Project manager

Main duties:

Project management and coordination: Lead and coordinate the permitting process for the establishment of renewable energy projects, such as wind power, solar power, hydropower and biopower.

Role Purpose:

Ensure that project development takes place in accordance with relevant legal frameworks, particularly with regard to the Environmental Code and associated legislation, through close collaboration within the project team.

Expertise in nature conservation, ecology, community planning and cultural geography

Main Duties:

Environmental analysis:

Assess the potential of land areas for energy production taking into account factors such as living environment, natural areas, infrastructure and outdoor opportunities.

Permit administration: Lead and coordinate the entire permit process for wind, hydrogen and solar power projects

Consultation process:

Plan and carry out consultations with various stakeholders, including authorities, the public, the Sami and others. Prepare documentation for consultation processes and draw up consultation documents.

Procurement:

Responsible for the procurement of sub-consultants and other services related to the current project.

Document production:

Prepare and compile permit documents, environmental impact statements (EIA) and control programs.

Qualifications:

Relevant university education in law, environmental science, energy engineering or similar.

At least five years of experience in environmental assessments and permit processes in the field of renewable energy.

In-depth knowledge of environmental law is a strong merit.

Experience with permitting processes

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Good ability to build relationships and collaborate with different stakeholders.

Understanding of the Swedish energy market and its regulations.

Analytical ability and ability to handle complex problems.

Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing landscape.

Location: Stockholm alt. at home, but travel within the country may occur in the service.
