Erik Grönlund & Olle Hedberg

Erik Grönlund

Managing Partner & Chairman of the Board, Newera

Erik Grönlund has almost 20 years of experience in the energy industry and has recently run the consulting company Modum Konsult. Previously, he worked for 11 years at Vattenfall, where he, among other things, led Sweden's largest development department for onshore wind power. He has an in-depth knowledge of wind power projects and has contributed to over 15 wind power projects corresponding to 4 TWh/year (3% of the country's electricity consumption) being built or under construction. Erik has a degree in civil engineering from KTH and has also studied business economics/business development at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Olle Hedberg

Olle Hedberg has a solid and broad professional background that spans several industries. For the past 10 years, Olle has specialized in the energy sector, particularly distinguished as CEO of Sweden's largest developer of offshore wind power. His achievements include development of a 600 MW hydrogen plant, project management of 20 onshore wind projects and establishment of a 10 GW offshore wind portfolio. Under his leadership, Skyborn Renewables expanded from 1 to 19 employees during 2019-2023. Olle has a B.Sc. from Södertörn University and an M.Sc. in Energy Technology from Uppsala University.
